Scary for sure. It's just what the WTS does - they're not interested in "truth." They publish whatever will keep people's minds under their control.
If they were interested in publishing the "truth," they would have admitted that 607 was an incorrect year. Then they wouldn't have had to furiously backpedal over 1975 and "generation."

However in this case well applied. History is full people who didnt let the facts get in the way of a good story. Neother hitler nor the wtb&s society are the first, but they use the principle very effectivly and without remourse
