"Expenses are manageable, as there are no paid clergy and the meeting places are modest." Quote from WT Website.

This quote is rather interesting..."no paid clergy"...

But notice what it doesn't say...yes there is a clergy, just that they're not paid!

As some are wont to say "This is semantics"! The WTS may not have a paid clergy in the sense of a weekly wage which is subject to the labour laws, but they DO pay allowances, as we all know.

The WTS are forever lambasting the clergy for being "paid' yet they never give details of HOW MUCH they are paid. I wonder why?... Well I don't really, because to many it could only be termed an allowance.

Another deceptive teaching of the WTS.

    Cheers,

And, of course, if you read 1 Corinthians chapter 9, you will see that the ministry should be paid, so that's another area in which the Watchtower disregards the Bible.

I think that the CO's have a paid for apartment, car, groceries and expenses. Not to mention regular gifts from the publishers. Free trips around to various spots for vacation or to give special talks.
