  Over the years I have seen stuff like this, they used a similar technique about cults, and showing in the end that they were not a cult !

  What I wonder is if the guy who wrote the first bit is really one of the "Awake" class, and then the writing committee appended a bit to make JW's look good, or maybe the original author did, knowing it was false, but so as not to get kicked out of bethel.

  Some of it though arises from their arrogance and hubris, they know that they can slip in a bit of Critical Thinking, a bit of truth, and yet once they have negated it in later paragraphs the R&F JDubs will swallow the reasoning that keeps them in line, in servitude, and keeps the $$$ rolling in.
