    Here's a modern euphemism

    "downsizing"

If a Witness was employed at a business that was losing
revenue and employees, they would not be surprized
to think that the company was "downsizing" in response
    to a lack of business.

But are Witnesses capable of applying the same powers
of observation to their organization? Can they admit
that the "TRUTH" is being DOWNSIZED? Are they so blinded
by propaganda that this simple conclusion escapes their
    notice? Downsizing examples:

    No food at assemblies
    15 minute publishers
    70 hour pioneers
    'at least one year' Bethelites
    Paperback books instead of hardcover
    no more mailed subscriptions
reductions in Awake printing in some countries
    less literature shipped to congregations

Take a good look at that "no more mailed subscriptions"
-this breaks a 120 year tradition, doesn't it?

Will these Witnesses ever wake up to reality?

I don't know if that can be called downsizing, here in texas they are always building bigger and nicer facilities so they can accomodate more and more people. How ever as other posters have discussed they seem to have to use the old tactics of the money hustle every month to pay for it.I remember hearing the old people aren't keeping their vows and we are short of money ploy pretty consistantly.

Yeah, and they simply call it "Simplification" and the rank and file swallows it down!

It's amazing, isn't it? When you're on the outside you can see so clearly.
