An unconfirmed report of a JW Murder in Mozambique

   A couple from the UK, International Construction volunteers, were living in a trailer whilst building a translation facility in Mozambique.  A gang attacked them with machetes and stole everything they owned. 

  The couple were flown back to the branch in South Africa.  The SA branch organizes WT building projects for the whole of Africa.  The second most senior overseer in the building department went immediately back to Mozambique to organise better security.  The gang came back and shot the overseer to death.

   I offer this story without embellishment or comment  though I believe it to be true.  Can anyone confirm or deny it?

  I cant vouch for the validity of this, but if true it is a terrible tragedy and one can only wonder.. Where was the most powerful force in the universe on that day?  Taking its lunch break?

  I know the victim personally and he was indeed murdered when the gang came back to the facility - a translation office which as has been mentioned was previously broken into. I am awaiting full details from family members. His name is Hilton Tunstall and he was married to Dalene. She was not with him at the time. We grew up together. Top class human-being.

  Thank you Afrikanman, our hearts go put to him and his family and friends whether misguided or not.  I also hear that the GB are reviewing their policy of outlying translation offices.

  Bethel Family support for his wife Dalene and the affected families has been outstanding - Lets say something when it has to be said.

  A lot of family had to get over from Aussie, Canada and UK -

  Exact details of the assault I have not yet obtained. I am pretty cut up about this myself. There are so many very special personalities in the Borg - unique people. And this makes it even sadder still.
