I talked to an Elder recently. He mentioned the recent KM school for Elders. I proved to be a bit nosy. He said they showed a series of real-life scenarios regarding the way Elders handle congregational matters. One example he gave was a video that provided good/bad examples of what an Elder might do if a Sister, who just lost her husband in death, broke down crying during the song.
He stated that the KM meeting lightly warned Elders regarding being insensitive and mentioning the understanding regarding "no marriage for the resurrected" to the grieving sister. According to him, the KM school stated something along the lines of "We don't know that for certain, and we are just imperfect humans interpreting scripture".
