May anyone help me to know where this picture is located? If you have visited that, how does it looks like to be inside it?

    glenster,

Thank you very much for the link. Iam surprised how intricate design is involved.

I've been in this one at Disneyworld (although it's a circle, and not a true geodesic dome).. very cool! It's a greenhouse.

The inventor is Buckminster Fuller, and his designs have been around since the seventies.

The wiki article does not mention it, but I recall from my study of geodesic domes that Fuller is very nearly blind and he learned about shapes by manipulatin them.

The geodesic design has the strongest shape-to-material ratio. It is very efficient.

This fellow may be the next generation of innovator.

Or perhaps these are the descendants:

Yes, he was way ahead of his time, Jgnat. I remember learning about him during the Centennial, when the geodesic dome was built for the world fair in Montreal, Expo 67. By the time I got to Montreal, it had already burned down. :(

Wow, very interesting about Buckminster Fuller. Alot of us think when you loss sight, its the end of your life. Now comes Buckminster Fuller. Iam sure, this ought to change the negative public perception about disability as a handicap.
