I posted something similar before but had few replies. The WT taught that the first Rez was in 1914 or was it 1919 ? Did they not ??

It was believed that Franz, Knorr, Russell and all the dead anointed came to life then and were just hanging around aimlessly waiting on Jesus

The latest at the annual meeting seems to portray this now as a future event? Have I missed previous new light on the subject ??

When Does Jesus Appoint the Slave “Over All His Belongings”?

Jesus said that the “master on arriving” (literally, “having come”) will appoint the slave “over all his belongings.” When does the Master, Jesus, arrive?

The expression translated “on arriving” is a form of the Greek word er′kho·mai. Verses 42 and 44 of chapter 24 translate a form of er′kho·mai as “coming.” In those verses, Jesus is referring to his coming as Judge during the great tribulation.—Matthew 24:30; 25:31, 32.

Jesus’ appointment of the “slave” over his “belongings,” then, must also be a future event. He will make that appointment during the great tribulation.

    What Are Jesus’ “Belongings”?

Jesus said: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.” (Matthew 28:18) Jesus’ “belongings” thus include more than just his earthly interests. They include the Messianic Kingdom.—Philippians 2:9-11.

Consequently, Jesus will reward “the faithful and discreet slave” by resurrecting the individual members of that group to heavenly life and by giving them royal authority over all Christ’s belongings in heaven and on earth. This is the same reward promised to all faithful anointed Christians.—Luke 22:28-30; Revelation 20:6.

Jesus "came" in 1914, cast the devil and his angels to the earth and then, in 1919, chose the Watchtower Society as his future bride. Since he came in 1914, that's when the countdown began. One could say that 1919 was the date he chose the faithful and discreet slave (they've been so discreet that no one knew until earlier this year). As for the resurrection, that could begin anytime since 1914.

In truth, I believe the first resurrection began with Christ's resurrection. The scriptures speak about many of the bodies of the saints arose and went into the city and were seen by many. For most people, the first resurrection will take place when Jesus returns to Jerusalem during the battle of Armegeddon and it will continue throughout the Millennium. The second resurrection, or the resurrection of the wicked, will come at the end of the Millennium. Before then, however, the wicked on the earth will come together for another assault on Jerusalem. It, too, will be called the battle of Gog and Magog; however, the original battle described in Ezekiel 38-39 is Armageddon, the first battle of Gog and Magog. We know this is not the battle at the end of the Millennium because that battle will require a cleanup of at least seven years. The second battle will be brief and there will be no clean up, as Jesus will destroy the wicked, judge them; then comes the second resurrection. After that, every knee shall bend and every tongue confess Christ. At that time, Jehovah will offer up the glorified and redeemed Earth with its hosts to the Father, and then we move to the next stage, whatever that is.

The "Armageddon" taught and expected by the Jehovah's Witnesses is fiction and completely unbiblical.

'Officially', in 1918-19 when they were appointed over all the belongings, the FDS were started to be raised. There was even a WT saying they were involved in transmitting truths to the GB.

9 When does the first resurrection occur? There is strong evidence that it is now under way. For example, compare two chapters of Revelation. First, look at Revelation chapter 12. There we read that the newly enthroned Jesus Christ, along with his holy angels, wages war against Satan and his demons. (Revelation 12:7-9) As this journal has often shown, that battle began in 1914. Notice, though, that none of Christ’s anointed followers are said to be with Jesus in that heavenly war. Now look at chapter 17 of Revelation. We read there that after the destruction of “Babylon the Great,” the Lamb will conquer the nations. Then it adds: “Also, those called and chosen and faithful with him will do so.” (Revelation 17:5, 14) “Called and chosen and faithful” ones must already have been resurrected if they are to be with Jesus for the final defeat of Satan’s world. Reasonably, then, anointed ones who die before Armageddon are resurrected sometime between 1914 and Armageddon.

11 What, then, can we deduce from the fact that one of the 24 elders identifies the great crowd to John? It seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today. Why is that important? Because the correct identity of the great crowd was revealed to God’s anointed servants on earth in 1935. If one of the 24 elders was used to convey that important truth, he would have had to be resurrected to heaven by 1935 at the latest. That would indicate that the first resurrection began sometime between 1914 and 1935. Can we be more precise?

12 At this point, it may be helpful to consider what might be viewed as a Bible parallel. Jesus Christ was anointed as the future King of God’s Kingdom in the fall of 29 C.E. Three and a half years later, in the spring of 33 C.E., he was resurrected as a mighty spirit person. Could it, then, be reasoned that since Jesus was enthroned in the fall of 1914, the resurrection of his faithful anointed followers began three and a half years later, in the spring of 1918? That is an interesting possibility. Although this cannot be directly confirmed in the Bible, it is not out of harmony with other scriptures that indicate that the first resurrection got under way soon after Christ’s presence began.

Since the new light the final decalaring of them to be 'righteous'/faithful and the appointment of belongings is future, so I think this means so is the 1st resurrection.

Has every one missed this MAJOR change in belief or am I wrong.????

Most discussions seem to revolve around the FDS only being apointed in 1919 not before.

Nothing seems to have led to discussion about their new belief that those "Resurrected" in 1919 are now DEAD again ??

Is that not a major change ??
