Experts believe may have started the hades myth.
Found it very interesting to think this may have been behind the ideas of superstitious men writing about things in their environment they simply just didn't understand.

That's a pretty neat find.
Just something else that makes one wonder if everything in the bible is just written by men, putting forth ideas that were not rooted in science and knowledge but of poor understanding.
That would be the source for believing that the underworld was a cold land of shadows...
For a concept of a "fiery hell", I suspect that we must look towards volcanic eruptions.
