    Cofty - it's looking very pretty draped in christmas lights just now, probably more pedestrianised than you remember and a few more empty shops. Apart from that, still popular

    There was a pub away along the far end I used to hide in during long boring shopping trips from Airdrie. Can't mind its name now? It was oppostite an oddly named "Third Eye Centre".

    I must go back and have a wander around just for the memories. I used to work in one of the city centre telephone exchanges.
