I'm not the biggest fan of Yes although "Leave It" is one of my favorite songs of any genre. Another one of their songs though, "Roundabout" is a favorite too. There's a certain aggressive rhythm it has, one might call it kinda funky, yet the vocals have a kind of folksy way about it and it even has a little bit of psychadelic/hard rock guitar nearing the end of the track. Any other songs or bands with a sound in a similar vein? CSNY comes to mind immediately, but after them I start drawing a blank. Can I have a little help please? Any suggestions?
Can I getta little musical help from my friends please? Songs like Yes' "Roundabout."

Try going on Pandora and enter "Roundabout" as the key song. The service will find other artists with the same sound.

I might not be the best person to answer this, precisely because I love Yes and Progressive Rock in general. Fragile is a good album to have in its entirety. For instance, you might like some of the other songs produced around the same period like Long Distance Runaround or Heart of the Sunrise.
If you want to venture into something that gets no radio play, but equally as musically rewarding, you might check out early King Crimson. For instance, you might like the song Cirkus from the album Lizard.
Early Genesis also has the same mix of folksy with an edge. For instance, the album Nursery Cryme, you might like The Musical Box.
The 70’s was a great era for music in general. You couldn’t go wrong with early Jethro Tull, or if you want to venture into Italian Prog, early PFM.

If you are heading for Prog Rock make sure to stop off at Jethro Tull and Rush.
Oh yeah, and let us not forget about Pink Floyd.

One time, on a road trip, that_quiet_girl wanted to play one of her pop CDs.
I told her, "Let me play this one song first."
I played Thick as a Brick.
