52 degrees Celsius is 125.6 degrees Fahrenheit. That's hot no matter how you measure it.
Where I used to live in the desert we had about two weeks every year with temps over 120 degrees F. I once experienced walking in 128 degree weather. Not good for humans at all.
I hope the weather cools soon -- that is hot enough to keep wild fires burning for a long time, hot enough to kill people. Poor Australia!
I saw on the Nightly News yesterday that 2012 was the hottest year on record.
Where I'm at we've had ice and snow still on the ground from a snow storm that hit almost two weeks ago. However, this weekend its going to hit the mid 60's. Crazy weather.

Yes, that's what people always said about the heat in the Palm Springs area. Somehow it doesn't make much of a difference when things get that hot.
Dry heat or humid it is still awful.
I live in the tropics of Australia, its still over 120 but sticky too!! Give me some snow.

I thought 47 degreec Celsius where i am was hot...felt like i might spontaneously combust when i was walking around in it.
