I am noticing that as time goes times on, the Jw's become more stranger. they seem a whole more distant at least to me.They also more depressed at least the older ones I see.
What do you think.

There are many, many older JWs who never imagined they would be getting old, drawing retirement, burying their spouse.
The promise goes unfulfilled.

I understand what you're saying.
The longer I'm away, the more nutso they seem. They are so delusional and utterly depressed. Many of them act in desperation....
Its sad to see how mislead they are.......It especially feels weird to see them in field service now......pathetic

There does seem to be a lot of depression.
It may have to do with the "generation" now extending indefinitely.
The GB seems either to be coming out with unpopular "new light" or else simply rehashing the same old points over and over.

Yes I am also noticing a desperation in these Jw's that I have not really seen. I see some Jw's and they have this expression of fake happiness. They seem to acting out of a sad desperation for their new syestem.Which is never coming. I see this desperation in a lot of old Jw's especially those in their 50's and 60's and 70's.

I'm not around them now but when i was in most were depressed, or some type of mental illness.

It is the same crap over and over in each and every magazine. Fortunately for the WTBTS, they are good at their job, so for now at least, they have a continual crop of new ones who don't know anything written before their lives began. So it all seems exciting.
For the older one's staring time in the face, it is almost as if there is a direct proportional relationship between broken promises, false predictions, the passage of time, and hope. The worse things get, the more most JW's try to console themselves at the breast of their spiritual mother. There is just one problem...

The word "appreciate" has now become a buzz word with all the irritation that goes along with "buzzzzzz".
The worse things get the more I hear "appreciate this" and "appreciate that".
I no longer appreciate the "truth", brothers, spiritual paradise, near, around the corner, service, meetings, assemblies, CO visits, the Bible, Bible aids, counsel etc. etc.
