  I would like to nominate Candace Conti for a Characters Unite Award, but I do not know contact information for Candace Conti. If anyone knows Candace Conti's contact information, please file out the Characters Unite Nomination form, so that I can vote for her. Nomination for awards ends by 11:59pm ET on March 15th, 2013.

  Please post to this thread when Candace Conti has been nominated.

  Characters Unite Award Rules:

  ELIGIBILITY: Open only to permanent, legal United States (“U.S.”) residents who are physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) U.S. or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories), and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the start of the Contest Period. Officers, directors, and employees of Contest Entities (as defined below), members of these persons’ immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. Contest Entities, as referenced herein, shall include Universal Television Networks and NBC Universal Media, LLC, both located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112 (collectively, the “Sponsors”), and their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, and administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contest.

  Sponsors are looking for Nominees (defined below) that are making positive contributions to people and communities. This Contest targets individuals who are either engaged in their own project or are involved with an outside organization or association (collectively, a “Project”) that works for a positive cause. See Essay (defined below) criteria below for further details.

  Can you think of anyone else who should be nominated for a Characters Unite Award? I can!! What about Barbara Anderson and Steve Hassan?

  What will you do to encourage someone else to self-nominate themselves for a Character Unite Award? I have!! I wrote messages to both Barbara Anderson and Steve Hassan. I would have written to Raymond Franz, but he has passed.

  If you feel uncomfortable writing Barbara Anderson, Steve Hassan, or some other Character, please post who you would nominate to this thread to keep this thread near the top of the active threads.

  Silence is consent!! So at least start raising your voice even if it is only a whisper to say no to shunning family and friends because leaders say it is the right thing to do, say no to prejudice, say no to fear. Say yes to unconditional LOVE!!

  H'mm 110 views and no one has posted a comment. Nobody can think of who they would nominate?

  It is unfortunate that the Characters Unite Award is limited to just American citizens. I know of several other people who I would like to nominate, like Bo Juel Jensen, Paul Grundy, Steveh UnThank, and Cedars to name a few. If you are a non-American, have you considered writing to the media in your country about doing a similiar public service.

  If Universal Television Networks and NBC Universal Media have a presence in your country, why not write to them about doing a similiar program in your country?

  Does this mean?

  1. There are few individual characters on JWN,
  2. Most JWN members do not care about helping non-JWN members,
  3. Most JWN members like to vent a lot about their personal issues,
  4. Most JWN members are turned off by my user name,
  5. Most JWN members are afraid of getting involved and reveling their identify,
  6. Most JWN members feel that nominating people for the Characters Unite Award will not make a difference,
  7. Other?
