Hi all,
I know this topic has been done to death; but with each poassing week it seems more certain that this segment will never see the light of day.
Sadly, that it's been killed seems a foregone conclusion. Has there been any communication from the producers to clarify its status? And's what's happened behind the scenes? Has NBC succumbed to WT pressure or have they decided that the JW molestation story isn't ``big'' enough?
Does anyone know anything?

Silentlambs, Mr. Bowen, please, tell us it is going to air, soon ...
Perhaps our keen sense of expectation "killed it"?
What's that saying "Many a slip twixt cup and lip"?
Or "Don't count your chickens till they're hatched".
We should learn from the WTS who've been guilty of 'hurrying up' Armageddon, only to see their expectations fail.
If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, does this change anything?
The evils are still on record. The guilty are still guilty. Those who have an open mind will learn.

You know, (expression, not poster) the more exposure and interviews, analysis etc of the Catholic Church problem, the more primed the JWs will be to see the meaning and reprecussions of a similar situation among their own. Right now all unsuspecting JWs are crying "see, they are of the devil", babylon etc. If the dateline story hada broke first you can bet there wouldn't be all the follow ups, interviews, etc of JWs, cause really the public sees them as a cult and all cults have skeletons in the closet thats why most people stay away. Now there are 252 million (approx.) people in the US alone and only 6 million (and on the way down) JWs WORLDWIDE. Small potatoes.

True, and here in Oz this is very much to the fore because of a scandal involving the Governor-General in his former role as an Anglican Archbishop.
But I wonder if what you say may not also work AGAINST the effectiveness of a Dateline expose of the WTS in that it would be seen that the WTS was NO WORSE than other imperfect people.
