OK, enough with conspiracies (for now). Why don't US leaders deal with the severe shortage of actors in this country?

Every year, the US fails to produce enough competent actors to meet its needs and so, must rely on foreign imports.

    Like Hugh Laurie

    or Anthony Lapaglia

    or Damien Lewis.

    or Colin Farrell

There's a whole lot of female ones as well, since globalization makes acting labor less expensive in countries like Australia (apparently). So, Naomi Watts might displace Lindsay Lohan - who then can no longer afford her drug needs. It's just tragic.

Of course, these people must be re-taught English (to pass for 'Merican) and get rid of that nasal upper class accent (or "Strine"?)

Remember, buy American. Somewhere in California, a waitress needs hope of a better life..

Q: Why don't US leaders deal with the severe shortage of actors in this country?

A: Because they're too busy being bad actors themselves.

Well, clearly they need training then! Especially Republicans. They lost Ronnie years ago.

actually they are really good actors ..... they are just not Good Looking enough to make it in Hollywood..

I'm repeating something I heard once.. "Politicians are actors who can't make it in Hollywood because they are not Good Looking".. I think it's true..

Tater, good looking is a plus but it makes you wonder how Steve Buscemi became so popular.
