    Okay.
For the SECOND straight year, the P.O. of my congregation had 'We Thank You, Jehovah' playing faintly in the background while the emblems were being rejected...er...passed around.

Does anyone else know of someone who delivers (delivered) the Memorial talk who adds (added) their own tradition into the mix?

Oh, I almost forgot...A young girl (a little over one year old) attended her first Memorial. She was sitting next to a partaker. The partaker took the "bread" and began eating it. So, the little girl tried to take some "bread" off of the tray. When they wouldn't let her she began to WAIL soooooo loudly. It was TOO funny!!! How do they know that little girl isn't annointed??? LOL!

ohhhh yeah.... suburban PA is the best! haha.

The elder at our hall who said the prayer before we passed the bread forgot to say amen, so the whole congregation didn't say "amen." does that count then?

Also, there was a little boy sitting next to me (about 3 years old) and right after the talk began, he whispered to his mom, "I don't like this mommy, can we go home?" It was cute....

But in response to your question, no, no elders have started new trends...

It's funny but I always thought it was kind of strange that the one that says a prayer says amen. Amen means to be in agreement. To me it is obvious that the brothers who say the prayer are in total agreement with what they say, even if it is the same ol' same ol' prayer said at every meeting and before meals. But that is another story, haha.
