no. weekends are long enough.

but there were some precedent long distance couples (NOT married) in cramped quarters:-- Emilia Erhard and her navigator and --the non - stop , not refueling earth - circling prop plane flight (plane now hanging in the Smithonian in DC)

I wouldn't want to, because I don't float or fly well. But confinement wiyh my husband is no problem. We crave each other's company, even after 18 years.
If I had a husband I really hated and my life sucked, it may be the perfect revenge.
No Popeyes, Long John Silvers, or Cold Stone for 16 months? I'd pass.

If hubby and I joined, we'd "kill" the mission. Literally. Our mission-mates would be chewing their way out of the capsule. How do I know? My daughter could not bear a twenty-minute car-ride with us. The bickering drove her insane.
The radiation exposure wouldn't be good for any future children that are conceived.
