Are JWs "Genuine Prophets?" They sure think so...........
From the book, The Nations Shall Know I am Jehovah:
page 292 : “ There is an authentic prophetic class of Christians among us...........Concerning the message faithful delivered by the Ezekiel class Jehovah positively states it “must come true....”
“ What is it to be gained by hesitating and doubting to the end that Jehovah can raise up and has raised up a genuine “prophet” within our generation?”
“ Anyone reading the Bible can see that God’s prophets where never inspired to speak a mixture of truth and error, their statements needed no “later editions” that are corrected to wipe out or cover over false reasonings.”- ISOCF
The record speaks for itself....many prophecies....none come true...false prophets.

Sounds like Chapter 4 from the Nation's book ... yes, and in there I believe at one spot they claim to be a Prophet "greater" than Ezekiel ... fascinating.
Following Bible principles, we will avoid trying to live - or demand others to live - by an extensive and rigid set of dos and don'ts that go beyond the teachings of the Bible. The Watchtower, 4-15-02, pg 22, pp 15
I remember using this scripture often when refering to other religions.
"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themself into apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light."
I guess it works both ways!!
