I was just flipping through the TV channels and saw that WWE was on, so I thought what the heck I'll check it out. You see, back when I was a kid I loved wrestling (even though I usually had to sneak it because it was too violent), but I haven't really watched it since I was a kid. As I watched a couple minutes of this I had a flash of how, even as a young kid, I wondered how did I ever think this was real!? There was a time as very young child I thought WWF was real, but slowly as I got a little older I started to question and finally it became clear that it was fake and just a big show.
This kind of reminds me of growing up as a JW. When I was younger I *knew* it was the truth, but then a few seeds of doubt entered my mind and finally I came to my senses and realized it wasn't the truth. So now when I see a Watchtower I get that same feeling of "how in the heck did I ever believe this stuff?!" It seems so crystal clear now. Anybody ever have those types of flashbacks?
