Near miss ! JW's in my neighborhood.

LoisLane looking for Superman

From my living room window, while I am sitting at my computer, on JW.net, a little four door car, pulled up and parked on my road. Two couples got out. The two men, walked East to my place, but only went to the big house in front. They didn't bother with me in the cottage, even though I am in plain view. Yay !

I didn't know if I should hide, as in, lay down on my sofa, lay down on the floor, next to the wall, under the big windows, run to my bedroom and shut the door, hide out in the bathroom...or answer the door!

My stomach is still doing flip flops.

For whatever reason, I am so glad they didn't come.

Now I know what it feels like to be a normal person, with JW's on the hunt. lol

I have been out for almost 30 years and when the doorbell rings I get the crazy stomach vibe too and usually it is a JW! YOU of all people on JWN can surely handle that! LET EM HAVE IT LOIS! They are NOT your cryptinite! LOL

They never call, they never visit and they never write. When I was in they only called to use the loo so things are looking up.

I remember in the first year of our escape we would get so freaked out when the doorbell would ring! Not anymore...when they come by the TV is turned up, dogs are barking and we just look out the peephole and continue with whatever we were up to. It's nice to be finally free from power they had over us.

Would they have known you if you had answered the door? If it were people I didn't know, I'd feel comfortable enough to answer the door and tell them to go away. People I used to be "friends" with make me want to hide under the bed. I get my fill of confrontation at work.

Finally Awake---->You are funny Girl! Hide under the bed. lol The ones that came onto the property looked like an Elder and his MS side kick. I am down a long drive way , and couldn't see their faces clear enough...I just thought. I could have spied on them with my binoculars, lol

OR - don't open the door and simply say from behind it in a loud enough voice "not at home!"

I know their are a lot of people with deep rooted baggage with JW`s who dont want to engage them in discussion , maybe it depends on how long you have been "out" or how much trauma/drama you have experienced with them and I can understand that.I on the other hand would welcome a discussion with them , but they never seem to knock on my door,2 times in 5 years ? Maybe I`m marked .
