One of the JWs featured in the article worked as a lecturer in a university. Perhaps Higher education isnt as frowned upon in Turkey. JWs want freedom to be Conscientious Objectors but want to limit their members freedom to pursue a good education.

The GB are still playing both ends against the middle... The have a lot of nerve talking about human rights when they deny those rights to their flock.
