    Hi folks

The new June 15th Watchtower is now on JW.org in case you are interested! Here is the link... http://download.jw.org/files/media_magazines/28/w_E_20130615.pdf

One of the pictures immediately caught my eye, because it perfectly captures the JW obsession with appearance and, specifically, facial hair.

Look at this picture from page 8 (I've edited it to include the same image from a different angle on page 19)...

    Jesus in Kingdom Hall

So there you have it folks. It's nice to know that if Jesus ever turns up in a Kingdom Hall wearing jeans and a casual shirt, he can expect an "impartial" welcome!

That one gave me a much-needed belly laugh. Ha ha ha!

Yeah, they'll be reeeal impartial, until he says he won't shave his beard.

However, if the fellow with the hair wants to get baptized, he will have to look like the brother in the photo.

Speaking of which, I wonder how the guy with the hair explained his appearance to his elders, "The GB want me to look like this so I can appear in a photo in the Watchtower. No, REALLY!"

And remember folks a beard on a man is a sign of immorality, even though most likely all the first era Christians probably

had beards including Jesus and in spite of the fact that God created man to have beards through his creation.

Shaving your beards will display a signs of righteous morality in the eyes of the Watchtower Publishing Corporation though.

The guy with the beard had to be portrayed a little sloppy - shirt out, blue jeans? Why not put him in a suit?

Is it because men with beards are ONLY slovenly?

I've seen so much partiality in there, even brought it to light to elders, who didnt deny it but actually challenged that I should be able to see why it was happening. As if it was just. Nothing will change, partiality will be shown to those putting the most cash in the collection boxes, or are linked to the body of elders. End of.

Morality may not be the issue. Rutherford may have invested the early watchtower heavily in Gillette.

Well if Dave Grohl walked in the KH, not only would I shake his hand but get on my hands and knees and do acts of obeisance to him. He is of course the only true god.
