Basically the Governing Body rules with an iron fist inside a velvet glove, they are so concerned and loving on the outside but will commit acts of violence on those that don't bow to their edicts. No one inside the Organization can ever question them to question them leads to a Judicial Commitee Trial in which no excuse is allowed.

do you remember the old soap operas? daytime soap operas....from a man's pov you might scratch your head and say, why are the girls into this so much? where a man wants to watch the football game, drink and act violent with his friends; a girl (in general) is not into this, but what is it about the soap operas? for one, and obviously, it's an emotional thing. it has to do with taking emotion and synthesizing a drug out of it. emotion via day to day interactions then becomes the drug of choice. hmmm interesting you say? well, in the jw org, this phenomena becomes much more prevalent with *all* people men and women, why? simple, they are very good at telling you that basically all forms of entertainment are bad....it is VERY VERY easy to demonize that which is tangible, but the intangible....well, that is much more difficult (at least for these folks), because you can't touch it and point at it on a picture. so really, by default, this soap opera drug of emotional mania becomes the drug of choice. i actually see it a lot on this board also, if all the PM's became public, trust me, it would blow your mind how prevalent it is also on this board....i like to refer to it as dementia, but that is just me i guess. anyway, yea, because they cannot point at this drug on a picture, it runs rampant, and manifests as all of the above social disorders and ology's.
