I did google it and I wrote down the name of the pen that I should get at Wal Mart, but when I got there, they just don't selll it at my store.

I prefer to get it from any stores nearby, I do not want to order online at this time.

I would think that any sharp ball-point would do. Just don't get a felt tip.

Carbon paper went out with the bustle, Iamallcool...

But a good ball-point pen is all you need.

Any pen (or slightly pointy thing) that applies sufficient pressure will work well with carbon paper.

Are you sure you need to use "carbon" paper or transfer paper --- which is like "carbon" paper but a thousand times better unless you're typing on a fossil typewriter. When tracing in art (those who use patterns from their drawings, etc.) a 'stylus' is used --- a pointed, metal, object like a pen but it doesn't leave ink or indentation marks on whatever you're copying/tracing from which are hard on your original or pattern. Good idea to put whatever you want to transfer to something else first on tracing paper --- thusly making yourself a pattern.

The alternative is to use an ink pen that is out of ink --- thus not ruining your original w/markings or indentations. I like this over the stylus and use a fine point, dried up, ink pen (or use medium point, whatever you're comfortable with) and now I have a pattern and no need to keep drawing the same over and over again.

    Hope this helps.

Don't you have access to a printer? You obviously already have a computer.

Try one of the Michaels Art/Craft stores or Joannes for something to trace with if you don't have a dried up pen. They're inexpensive (stylus).

I told you wrong (sorry) about transferring your original (whatever it is you wish to copy) --- you just use a pencil to do this onto tracing paper then you have a new original to copy/transfer/trace onto whatever it is (and use your non-marking object to do this with).

Long day --- hope this makes sense.

A knitting needle would work, too. :)

rop, I do have a printer but I need to fill out custom forms at the Post Office. I have been doing that every month for 5 years so far. Last month, The postal lady told me to write it harder, I just want to write once not twice .
