Before the "truth" I was offended by Jerry Springer.
After the "truth" I find him hilarious.
Is it just me?

My youngest son has autism. He likes tv shows with high emotion like Jerry Springer and Hell's Kitchen. The yelling makes his giggle. For a while he was stuck on watching Maury Polvich. It took a while to get him to stop. We found other things and shows for him to focus on. But high emotion still fascinates him. I caught him giggling at a horror movie preview.

Hello Josie,
I avoid those shows like the plague
I think it's ashame to see women jump around like they
won the lottery when the Paternity test say
" YOU ARE THE FATHER !!!!!! "
It should be no suprised to the woman as to who the father is
and if a man thinks that low of a woman to thinks she sleeps around
why be wit' her

My son's favorite part was when Maury would declare "You are NOT the father!" The kid would jump up and down with glee. And would actually be disappointed if the guy was declared the father.
So glad he stopped watching that show.

Personally I find the show disgusting and exploitive to the people their bring on and to the viewer.
Its all about making money.
Its hard to believe that television which was once a valuable medium for entertainment has lowered itself to this level.
Low crass garbage for a television show.
Maury Povitch is another one of these disgusting shows

I'd agree I now find it funny. I think most of it is just for "show" but makes me laugh

The whole thing is rigged.
I think I feared the naughtiness of it before, now I cannot stop laughing. I am watching it now... -

Its been suggested that some of the people who are brought on to the show are being a bit fake and pretentious upon their reason for being chosen,
this may be true for they are getting paid about $1,000 for appearing.
Most are probably legitimate idiots with personal problems though.
At least shows like Dr. Phil approach people's problems with a bit of sincerity and concern to help those people out.

The only time I enjoyed a Jerry Springer type show was recently when Ant and Dec (Brit tv presenters/comedy duo) set up Jeremy Kyle (in the USA) with fake guests who were totally OTT and he swallowed it hook line and sinker. So funny!!
