He usually stays with a Elder/Eldress who loves to gossip. Before the CO attends his first meeting he has a distorted view of the other members of

the congregation based on the negative comments of the eldress

With these COs (company bullies), it's all about 'the old pals act'. They belive the crap they're told by the CoBE and his COW (co-ordinator's obnoxious wife). So if the CoBE is up the CO's arse then the CO will hate who the CoBE hates even when not justified.

Gone are the days when there were caring COs. The majority are sponging bustards now.

When a new CO comes to town, it is the running of the bulls. Every elder who has a grievance or a political score to settle rushes to present their side.
