Could you honestly call the WTS. leaders disingenuous crooks ?

  Taking a long arduous look back onto the WTS. and its many leaders/head editorial writers.

  There seems to be an apparent semblance of disingenuous bible interpretation and teachings that

  has come out of this organization within its long history. Which one could analytically ask the

  reason why ? My personally impression is that the leaders were espoused to create doctrines

  that could be utilized as marketing schemes for the organization's published literature.

  One can also see that the religious organization /publishing house derived many of its core

  doctrines from the 1900th century Christian Adventists, which probably made this organization

  continue as it did in that these particular teachings had their own inherent and potential

  marketing value for the proliferation of literature. There has been a true element of charlatanism

  within this organization that one can see, if one were to closely examine this organization,

  the point being I guess is whether or not your looking intently for that aspect or not.

  Certainly charles rutherford was. However, the present leadership, not all members qualify for disengenious crook. Maybe, some of them. Most of them are lying to themselves. While that is also a form of disengenuity, they do believe their own lies. Perhaps, henchmen of the disengenious crooks would describe them.

  I've always wondered whether they truly, truly believe it all themselves. Same with all major religions, the pope etc...

  The higher up people go the more they must see that there are just people at the top but at some point they have achieved 'position' and become part of the machine because they like where they are.

  So many of their policies are harmful and self-serving that people must know the real reason when they are creating them. There was a great piece someone wrote about how all oganizations can become corrupt and just interested in the own self perpetuity even though individuals within it may not seem to want that.

  I get the impression from researching people such as J Rutherford, through his take over of the organization and his particular

  behavior throughout his position as being the President and Head writer, is one of extreme arrogance and apathetic narcissism.

  Having complete control over the organization of the publishing and writing, while at the same time hypocritically acting as rich, boozing womanizer,

  driving around in lavish Cadillacs, during the Great Depression. The power did indeed go to his head.

  The established doctrines of the WTS. were nevertheless cunning in that Christ has returned and is now judging people upon their faithfulness,

  and stating that god has specifically chosen their organization as its specially chosen earthly arrangement.

  Exploitation and manipulation was and is the structured catalyst for this religious publishing house,

  its almost beckons on being genius in perspective toward its operative development.

  I wouldn't call the WT leadership, crooks. They are providing a service for the JWs, ie, "meat in due season from the F&DS class".

  From time to time the WT has provided disclaimers in it's publications. When they took out the 1914 generation promise in the Awake in 1995 the WT told the JWs= all bets are off- the paradise is not promised to come before the 1914 generation passes away. JWs were free to leave or stick around the KH- but only for entertainment value. Judge Rutherford invented the dogma of the great crowd living on earth forever- if you don't like the Judge's religious dogma, then you are free to find a religion that teaches something that you do want- like floating on a cloud with Jesus in Heaven - naturally, the WT wants to hang onto as many JWs as possible as they are the only real buyers of the product the publishing company sells. If all the faders and disaffected JWs would just say, enough is enough of this crap and walk out of the KH, then the WT would have to downsize to a small publishing house without any power over the day to day life of JWs.

  This is some of reason there is so much watching and listening of what their members are saying and doing, its to protect that solemnly acquired

  semblance of power and control, in spite of the maligning corruption which actually created that power and control.

  JWS are being shaped to represented the WTS. as its sales representatives (delegates) and to support a predefined self purposed image for the

  organization. Look right, speak right or your out and muzzled.

  I have given up thinking that the JWs will revolt over the ridiculous teachings that emanate from Bethel.
