    Today's WT study (w13 2/15 p.12 par. 18):

"We benefit from balanced consideration of the history of Jehovah's organization, even as the people of Israel benefited from reflecting on how God delivered them from Egyptian bondage."

And the last sentence in the same paragraph:

"Moreover, we do well to examine our history, learn from it, and plan for the future."

balanced consideration of the history of Jehovah's organization

There's the loop hole. You MUST be balanced...lol. If you bring up how many of their past beliefs have changed and in the least criticize it, your imbalanced and an apostate.

I assume that the definition of "balanced" is determined by the elders, and that this definition can modified at any moment without notice to suit their purposes.

The Proclaimers book opened many eyes back in 1993. It was part of the school program, the #1 talk, so jws heard it and were expected to study it. It has been 20 years since then and I doubt few since then have cracked the book. There is the Divine Purpose book and the 1975 Yearbook, all "balanced." Many of those books refer to older jw books, makes sense to check the larger quote material. jws did not know officially who the new GB member (appointed in September 2012) until the July 2013 study WT.

I find it interesting that the Proclaimers book doesn't appear in their official online library.

"We benefit from balanced consideration of the history of Jehovah's organization, even as the people of Israel benefited from reflecting on how God delivered them from Egyptian bondage."

Yes on doing proper research into the bible and god it becomes very apparent there was no exodus and shock horror, no god either, oh and those accounts were written in the 7th century B.C at the time of Josia. hmmmm.

"Moreover, we do well to examine our history, learn from it, and plan for the future."

OK, it turns out I was born into a mind control cult, I have since learned never to allow my mental freedoms to be compromised again, and now onwards with the rest of my life in fantastic mental freedom.

Once again they associate themselves with 'ancient Israel(TM)' in order to fool the dubs into thinking the WBT$ is God's channel. I guess this is an 'association fallacy''.

''Balanced'' is the word with mencaes attached. It's a passive aggressive warning NOT to delve too deeply and to create cognitive dissonance the then say:-

"Moreover, we do well to examine our history, learn from it, and plan for the future."

They're either beyond stupid or they know what they're doing in terms of propaganda methods. Methinks the latter!

They know that the greater % will NOT do the research - they will continue to eat from the rotting plate served up. They are quite happy to lose the few that do educate themselves.

The other alternative view to good ol' Punkies is that there is a person in the Writing Department who knows TTATT and really does want JW's to examine their history in a balanced way, balanced being look at all points of view.

Nah, I don't think so either, but it would be good if it were true.
