What sinis said. Real Estate involves moving tons of time sensitive paper from one place to another. In downtown Seattle (and I suspect many other places) various runners (real estate and lawyers are the most frequent users) use bicycles because they can ride between traffic lanes and on the sidewalk if needed. In thick traffic they can outrun the cops this way. On the other hand having a death wish or an inability to experience fear are probably job requirements.
