I know there has been some rumblings about what goes on here from time to time, However, I am amazed at the number of good threads that one can find on this site.

What good talking points and all done in a very civil manner. I can point out many other examples listed under “Active Topics.”
I just want to express my thanks to all (and to Simon) for making this place very interesting and informative.
Honestly, it seems to be coming down to the "fluff" posters vs. the "serious" posters.
It seems that recently the "serious" posters left and formed their own board over with Kent. Good luck to them.
I think that this site is wonderful and full of information but that fact of the matter is that there are a large number of "old hands" here that have talked through all the typical JW issues already. So we are continuing on with our friendships that we've made here and post "fluff".
I think that because of the explosive growth of the board, the newbies voices are being lost. They would be the ones that would post serious JW questions and experiences.
So having said all that, I'm proposing that we should all sponser a newbie. For just the cost of a cup of coffee a day...

Actually I have no idea, I don't drink the stuff. But when I think about all those poor unsponsered newbies out there, I get all choked up...
