One of the suspects is dead. The other is still on the loose. They locked down all of Watertown, and have requested that the residents of surrouncing towns stay home and that businesses stay closed. They have shut down all busses and trains for the Boston and Greater Boston areas. The suspects are Chechnians .
"The suspects are brothers of Chechen origin with the last name Tsarnaev, law enforcement officials told NBC News. The suspect at large, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is 19, was born in Kyrgyzstan and has a Massachusetts driver’s license, they said. The dead suspect was identified as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, born in Russia." News reports are saying the two brothers were throwing explosive devices out of the SUV as they were being chased.

I have not seen any reports naming a reliigious affiliation, although of course the majority of Chechens are Muslim.

I hope they get him alive. Being that young, he is obviously just a tool, indoctrinated to act. Knowing who, where and how the indoctrination took place would be very interesting. 'Course, chechnia has rfecently been used by the usa as a tool against russia.

Here in Wellesley it is eerily quiet. The parking lot here is usually completely full. There are only 3 cars in the lot now...including mine. I am just outside of the beltway (128 /95) The next town over is Newton, which is one of the towns where residents are requested to stay in their homes. in the same office building as my showroom, there are 2 doctor's offices. Imagine that... no patients today....
Listening to the news....lots happening...but hard to confirm all of it...so I won't say anything until the reports are confirmed.

Just heard on the radio that the suspect has been cornered in a building. Not confirmed.... hope it is true.
