How much more cult speak can you get than "putting on the new personality"? It makes me cringe now. How uncomfortable and strange. Let the old you die and be made over in the mind of Christ. Freaky weird. I have friends still in who torment themselves daily since they can't control their thoughts and feel extreme guilt over their thoughts.
If ever anyone doubted this was a cult, watch as people are encouraged to let the old them go and be made over in the new personality.
The Old me voted in elections becuase I thought it was important to vote on issues
that directly affect my life

How bout the term "daily spiritual programming." Heard that from the platform bout a year ago. Listen, obey and be blessed.
Now dealing with a personality disorder, I also look back on that very expression in disgust. It is plain and simple damaging the personality building process of any individual. Even more so for the born-ins like me. At every phase of what is normal personality developpment in a child or teenager, this "new personality" comes in the way, making for adults with... *drum roll* Personality Disorder.
