What Armenia was doing was wrong though. No two ways about it.
Somehow it seems counterintuitive for dubs to sue and collect money from a persecuting government. Isn't persecution part of their belief in their own righteousness and proves to them they are God's chosen ones?
Getting governments to pay up settles the score. Where's the spiritual payoff in that?

The WTS is making the ECHR into its own grievance board. They must not mind using Satan's governmental apparatus for free publicity and money in the bank. I doubt any of it goes to the imprisoned JWs either. They probably will just pocket the money claiming legal fees for advancing these individual JW's causes and getting them out of jail. Nevermind it was their own policies which played a huge part in getting these guys into jail in the first place. Classic Rutherfordian tactics.
