My favourite series of his was `the real thing’. The forgotten series as it has been called. I think it was that which started my interest in philosophy. How do we know we are getting the real thing?

Yes, I recall this series. Kinda weird that you posted this sooner as I have been thinking about it lately. I just finished watching Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" which I never had a chance to view when it was out originally.
