Throughout my awakening to TTATT, I've realized how much I seem to connect things like movies, art, and music to the organization. And so, recently as I was coming home from work I heard this song on a college radio station where different kinds of music are played all day.
It's called Ya Hey. I thought it was a really interesting name for a song but then upon hearing the lyrics noticed that there was more to it than just a nice catchy song.
Here is the link to their official lyric video. If you hear it, please listen and read closely.

Also, during the chorus, theres parts that are sung in a way that make it hard to understand, thats why theres a question mark there, but I went and bought the CD and in the lyric booklet he sings, "Ya-hey Ut Deo" which is latin for to god.
Here are the lyrics just in case the vid does'nt work.
Oh, sweet thing
Zion doesn't love you
And Babylon don't love you
But you love everything
Oh, you saint
America don't love you
So I could never love you
In spite of everything
[Pre-Chorus]
In the dark of this place
There's the glow of your face
There's the dust on the screen
Of this broken machine
And I can't help but feel
That I've made some mistake
But I let it go
Ya Hey (x3)
[Chorus]
Through the fire and through the flames
(Ya hey x2, Ut Deo, ya hey x2)
You won't even say your name
(Ya hey x2, Ut Deo, ya hey x2)
Through the fire and through the flames
You won't even say your name
Only "I am that I am"
But who could ever live that way?
(Ya Hey x2)
Ut Deo, Ya Hey
Ut Deo, Deo
[Verse 2]
Oh, the motherland don't love you
The fatherland don't love you
So why love anything?
Oh, good God
The faithless they don't love you
The zealous hearts don't love you
And that's not gonna change
[Pre-Chorus]
All the cameras and files
All the paranoid styles
All the tension and fear
Of a secret career
And I think in your heart
That you've seen the mistake
But you let it go
Ya Hey (x3)
I personally believe that the singer is having trouble accepting the way god is leading to agnosticism or maybe atheism. I came to this conclusion not only from this song, as many of the other songs also connect with this thought. There's a song called unbelievers where he says "girl you and I will die unbelievers".
Now am I looking to much into this? I dont know. It's a lazy, rainy sunday today and I felt like looking into this. Your thoughts and comments are welcome!
