Well, okay, not really. But things aren't so bad. I only have to work 13 hours today.
Can somebody rub my feet?
One of you cute ones preferably. You know who you are.

Dear Joel:
I always work 12-hour shifts (that turn into 13-hour shifts). I feel your pain!
If we're ever at an apostofest together, we're going to hire a pedicurist/foot masseur!
Just out of curiosity, what department are you in at Home Depot?

Hi Joel:
When you get enough donations it would probably be a good idea to look into getting some orthotic inserts for your shoes. They'll help with foot and back strain from being on your feet for long stretches.
Also, see if you can get a scrap of lumber or small wooden crate that you can use for a footstool - even a 3"x3" or 4"x4" piece about 6" in length will do - so you can elevate one foot at a time and shift your weight back and forth while you're standing at the cash register. This will also help with back and leg strain.
Hope it helps you feel better!

Just got done doing four weeks of 10 - 12 hour days, 5 - 6 days a week. Whoosh! Glad it's over. Now, I feel kinda strange having so much "extra time" on my hands. But, I'll quickly relearn how to use it.
Hope you have some relief in the near future.
Toodles,
