On a vacation with friends in Paris, 2000, a cellist was playing As Tears Go By in the underground tunnels to the trains. Great acoustics and an unforgettable performance.
I am really glad that live music isn't dead, now is not the Winter of our Discoteque, but that was not a perfect rendition there, Mick wasn't too bad, But Taylor Swift was off key most of the time.
Listening again to the Marianne Faithful version I thought that was quite smooth, must be all those Mars Bars ! LOL
Phizzy- I think Ms Swift's voice gets a lot of doctoring in the Studio. Marianne Faithful's version is great for its simple and moving young angst.
Love it, designs!
Thanks for sharing
Love Marianne. Thanks d.
I am late to the party but a good song is a Good Song. I prefer Marianne because she was the IT girl of my early years with Mick and Keith. Taylor has a gift of expersion that I cannot deny. Have you listened to her MEAN song. She captures words and has a story to tell.
STONES Rule, Mick is The Man and Keith, ah, I would still spend the night with him.
