FYI to anyone who hasn't seen it. I noticed it is avilable to rent/own on iTunes. I hoped it would be on netflix for free but I don't mind paying for a good movie. I am trying to slide it into our movie rotation so my wife can look at 'us' J-Dubs from the outside and see how cultish it all is. This is part of my 5-10 year plan to be out once and for all.

Anyway, just wanted to mention in case there are lurkers and others who don't know or forgot about Worlds Apart.

Are there any Danish (or Norweigan) JWs here who can tell us how this movie went over with the JW community in Denmark?

I saw it,,it has been also shown on cable tv several times here. I enjoyed the movie, should be an eye-opener about the JW DFing issue and shunning reality. The real ex-jw shows in the conclusion, the actress playing the part smiles at a girl, blonde sitting in the train.

Shows also her older brother, who was DF'd, but going back to org to be back in the family. Just much struggle for whole family in different ways.

I've seen many complaining about elders having beard...

It is allowed in Denmark to have beard. Imdb discussion about this movie has lot of jw comments, so funny :D

And oh, i've seen it many times. Awesome movie!
