So I've heard of cases where individuals got DF'd for writing to the WTBS...but are their cases where individuals have written and actually got a reply to their questions without any repercussions?

I wrote one some years ago regarding the "marking" arrangement. Basically, it answered me by saying "talk to your local elders."

ha! The local elders were the ones who made it so confusing!

Well Kool Jo i can imagine if a interested person attending meetings wrote a letter asking questions the reply would be positive.

I can imagine donated money sent to the Society teceive favourable replys.

Trouble with lettets which disagree is that the society understands if you dont agree 100% to teaching and doctrine you become dangerouse. Even if you agree 99% that one% you have problems with must be corrected. I think its called having your thinking reajusted in a loving way.

Same with baptisam its 100% agreeance with doctrine or no baptisam. When baptised kiss indepenting thinking goodbye.

I wasn't df'd for writing them. They didn't disagree with the research I had done. But I was forbidden to discuss anything that diverged from their litrature even if it was incorrect.

Kinda like the case with JWchildren molested by a JW: headquarters won't deny it happened, but without 2 witnesses they will tell the victim to shut up. If they persist in complaining then THEY-the victims- are df'd.

    Make sense now?

I recently wrote them about my research concerning the New Covenant and Mediator showing how their understanding was all wrong breaking down every one of their reasoning and topics. I was surprised when they just wrote back that their position wasn't going to change and if it did it would be published so i just needed to wait on Jehovah.

Copies of all letters are sent back to the local elders and the Circuit Overseer. I've often wondered about copywriting a letter and then waiting to see if it gets copied and forwarded to the locals. Turn the tables on them since they are so quick to go after web sites that quote their faux pas.

The WT boys really don't want you writing them. They would rather you drink the Kool Aid and shut up.

Letters cannot be copyrighted... why do you think we have access to all the Letters to the Body of Elders?

You would think these letters would really wake up the elders, the one i wrote there was no way they could not agree that i was right. They must really just turn off their brains and mail them in to the Society.
