I'm told that some of Rutherfraud's stuff is pretty extreme (Most KH's have destroyed his books).

Come now that is easy, choose any of their bibles, NWT, KJV, ASV.

In fact the most hate filled book in any church is most likely the bible. For that matter the most racist book, the most sexist, the most perverted, the most misogynistic, the most pro slavery (aside from my writings of course, can we say CONCUBINAGE? yummy!)... The most anti freedom, anti nature, anti logic, anti truth and just plain anti common sense book is, of course, the bible. And please do not get me started on the contradictions.

For those that get upset the witnesses say they are the only ones that are going to be saved, let's not forget that the bible gives the very strong impression, that only christians are saved. That concept has led to a great deal of hate. And one of the reasons the christians were universally despised, their haughty claims that they were saved, despite their vile deeds.

That's easy. "Enemies" by Joseph Franklin Rutherford. Read it and you'll agree with me. There is no JW book more filled with hate than that one and I've read most all of them.

Perhaps AlanF can shed some different light, but that is my hands-down my choice.

Yep, I agree with Farks, it's Joe Ratherflawed's "Enemies".

Joe seemed to thrive on hate. He hated the clergy, he hated businessmen, he hated politicians with a fury. He even hated many of the Dubs. Just try reading his W/T articles!

No wonder today's Dubs have inherited a legacy of hate.

Of course, there are many contenders for the Top Ten Most Hate-Filled books. Even the old Paradise book was quite a graphic tome for the kiddies to study.

For me the winner is the creation book. This type of religion should NEVER attempt a commentary delving into the deeper scientific topics, ESP if they dont intend on doing the appropriate research.

Even a book like enemies is ok by me cause he tells it like HE sees it.

The prime object of the Society's hatred is Christendom - all other Christian churches. Since their earliest days they have publicly attacked them. They believe that the church leaders are bent on the overthrow of their organization, led by the Devil, and will stop at nothing to achieve this aim. The membership now has a persecution complex against the clergy, who are not just criticised but condemned to death. Christendom is deemed to be past hope of redemption:

“She has been a long time in coming to her day of reckoning. But now at last her sin has found her out, has caught up with her. The end that Jehovah has decreed for her is about to come upon her, and she may expect no mercy from him. She is past all possibility of repenting and converting to him.”(The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah - Page 125)

The book the above quote is taken from attempts to apply Ezekiel’s prophecy concerning Israel to the leaders of Christian churches and all other religions in the world. Ezekiel’s warning to Israel is applied in an amazing way. A few of the titles and subtitles are listed below:

The days of Christendom are numbered
Christendom will know – at her end
Detestable religious things over which to sigh
Christendom infected with deadly demonism
Christendom’s fiery destruction from the celestial chariot
Where the smashing of heads begins
Hypocritical religionists stunned by the news

Thousands of verbal and printed attacks have been made on the integrity of religious leaders. The fact is that religious leaders seldom say a word about Jehovah’s Witnesses, despite the way the Watchtower Society persecutes and reviles them. If occasionally the Witnesses are criticised, it is in response to their numerous damning attacks made in almost every publication they print. The clergy I have spoken with have great compassion for the Witnesses, feeling they have been misled.

Since Amazing so nicely commented on the trial transcripts of Rutherflawed, and how desparate he and his cronies were not to go to jail, it is obvious THEY didn't belive they had the true religion.

Therefore they couldn't have believed the Catholics were a FALSE religion.

Therefore, what they DID believe in was that the Catholic Church was their greatest competitor for money and members. Thus the constant attacks against the church.

Only in the Watchtower do this religion call publicly, loudly, and endlessly for the death of children through refusal of medical treatment (and to a slightly lesser degree the Awake!); the expulsion/shunning of rape and molestation survivors; for individuals to not not not partake at memorial; to not even trust your own children/parents/marriage mate sayings; for the deaths rather than engage in alternative service or pay taxes (Germany, Malawi).

No definietly the Watchtower rag takes the cake as the greatest hate publication of all time.

But as for books, I agree with Farkel: Enemies.

Joseph Rutherford was one deranged dude. Even more so than Russell. So much so the both of them, that their wives could not stand to live with them anymore.

Gotta love that religious 'thang'.
