It seems the new buzz phrase at the DC that they have been saying more and more lately is that Jehovah protects one's spiritual health and that is what is more important that physical or financial health.

Spiritual health. As if that is something that is really quantifiable. He protects it but we have no proof or evidence.

What is spiritual health? We love the meetings, FS and everything else. He protects that. Like lame.

    *** w12 8/15 p. 14 par. 10 Carry On as Kingdom Citizens! ***

God’s organization makes use of the Internet and accomplishes much good with it. However, many sites on the Internet are morally and spiritually dangerous. Web sites that promote pornography pose an obvious threat to the spiritual health of Kingdom citizens. For decades, the faithful slave class has warned us about such sites. How grateful we are for these spiritual health alerts!

    *** w12 8/15 pp. 26-27 par. 7 Stand Firm and Avoid Satan’s Traps! ***

In weighing your decision, what would you consider to be foremost—how the overtime work would affect your bank account or how it might affect your spirituality? Would eagerness to make more money cause you to stop putting Kingdom interests first in life? Can you see how materialism would affect you if you were to neglect your own spiritual health and that of your family? If that is happening to you right now, how can you stand firm and avoid being choked by materialism?

    *** w11 10/15 pp. 8-9 par. 4 Is Your Recreation Beneficial? ***

However, we also realize that allowing for diversity in recreation is not a license to indulge oneself. To illustrate, consider again the example of food. Though we may be willing to eat a variety of foods, we would not deliberately consume food that is rotten. Eating such food would go against common sense and could endanger our health. Similarly, though we may be open to a variety of forms of wholesome entertainment, we would not pursue leisure activities that are life-threatening, violent, or morally rotten. Engaging in such activities would go against Bible principles and would endanger our physical or spiritual health. To make sure that we stay within reasonable limits, we do well to determine in advance whether some recreation that appeals to us is beneficial or not. (Eph. 5:10) How can we do so?

*** w08 4/15 pp. 18-19 par. 9 Marriage and Parenthood in This Time of the End ***

Raising a child involves years of self-sacrifice. It is a big investment in time and energy. A Christian husband needs to understand that for several years after a baby is born, his wife is likely to be distracted during meetings and she may have fewer opportunities for personal Bible study and meditation. This could have a debilitating effect on her spiritual health. Responsible parenthood requires that the husband does all he reasonably can to help to look after the child. He could try to compensate for what his wife may miss at the meetings by later discussing some of the program points with her at home. He may also share in caring for the baby to give his wife an opportunity to have a meaningful share in Kingdom preaching

    *** w07 1/15 p. 20 Remaining Steadfast When a Child Rebels ***

When an erring child is disciplined by Christian shepherds, it would be unwise if you were to reject or minimize their Bible-based action. Siding with your rebellious child would not be providing any real protection from the Devil. Actually, you would be endangering your own spiritual health.
