new grounds, very little parking, big pain for the locals when they arrive to do their weekend shopping and find the multistorey car parks all full!
see ya there, I'm the guy with the facial hair...

Ok my bad, I'm convinced, brilliant location, im sold!
FAR superior to Elland Road. Concessions in which to buy refreshments, shops locally, city centre location, great hotels near. If I go to any more it won't be quite so horrible!
The last time I went to a Convention in Leeds was about 1962. It was held in the disused tram sheds. Cold, noisy, echoed.
Met a very cute sister from Pudsey though!

Pudsey eh George--??-did you get to see her pud?
Was her Pudsey Bear [sic]???
Regret to say No and No

My parents were there - I'll see them when they get back and ask.
Nah! Was transferred from Elland Road, went to Sheffield. The only bright spot was that someone lost control of his car whilst parking ....... in the car park....... he wrote off (totalled) three cars and ended up wrapped round a tree.
The fact he wasn't injured made this a mirthful event. I am not altogether without human kindness.
I feel sorry for anyone who feels they have to go to such a mind-numbing, bum-numbing bore-fest.
Just be careful your brain doesn't melt and run out of your ears.
The last one I attended was years ago, but I still remember how depressing it was, I was just waking up at the time, and a Bro rushed up to me, shook my hand, and said to his little daughter "This is the Bro that brought me in to the truth". I groaned inwardly, and wished I hadn't been so persistent with him, for his and his family's sake.
I hope you survived intact, mentally and physically, it used to knacker me, the sitting and the boredom, with the constant nagging feeling "What on earth am I doing here ?".
