Of course, God authorized the casting of lots, even in the choosing of Matthias....gambling?

Gambling is a tax on stupid people.

lol @ Shador... having been a pawnbroker for years, I can attest to that ... especially here, since it's government-run (well, kind of).
A lot of lonely seniors, too. That broke my heart after the casino opened, and I had to quit my job. Just couldn't take it .. all those neglected old folks coming in to pawn their wedding rings and such.

Well I do not call it gambling when I donate each month
to the American Indian casnios. My funds goes toward schools,
health care. A much more worthy cause then the WT. LOL
I have personally sent a few kids to college.

Why woyld anyone take advice from a man who never got round to condemning slavery, but repeated multiple times to pay taxes and be a good slave.

lol @ jam .... :)
Our government tells us the same thing, but it turns out that *most* of the money goes to the Sheraton, who 'runs' the casino (of course, their expenses comprise most of their 'take' *wink wink*). And my government, too, says *our* share goes to 'roads and schools', but it's only reported in a lump sum. There's no real accountability ... I assume it is resting comfortably in a nice, cool, slush fund.

talesin: yes I was trying to justify my lost by rationalizing, it's
going to a worthy cause. LOL. I would save money if I just drove
up to the casnio, roll my window down and throw my money out
in the front door and turn around and go home.
