Most businesses have secrets which they guard carefully.

Governments too.

Charities likewise.

JWs have had many secret letters and policies released on this website.

Do JW leaders have a right to the privacy they desire?

Governments have secrets to protect the security of their country.
Businesses have secret to protect their intellectual property.
The WTBS has secrets to control the R&F and cover their asses!

If they want privacy then they also have to accept legal obligations to be open and honest in other areas. They cannot set themselves above other organisations that have a legal obligation to protect children or lie in a court of law about how many members are paedophiles. They are untrustworthy and therefore have yet to earn the right to have secrets.
Quite frankly most of what they believe is a secret to their own members since it is almost impossible to stay awake at meetings and process the lessons.
