I posted an enquiry why my post count has remained at 1810 for days and now its dropped even more to 1801????

It's nothing to worry about. Simon is just cleaning up the clutter, so you are likely to see some changes in post count.

Its forum cleanup ... I was going through the support area - got to the end and didn't realise, sorry!
Things should return to normal soon.
Oh, and the reason the post count drops is if I remove any topic you started on or replied to. Nothing 'suspicious' ... most are either spam or troll topics, technical support, occassional empty topics / posts, topics with links to sites that are long gone (e.g. geocities) or just things that don't make sense 10 years later (i.e. some 'upcoming' event)
I've removed the counts to avoid confusion.

Oh, you mean like when the WTS removes or alters stuff in their old publications. Got it! ;)

I'm actually going to try and replace them with something more useful - a little popup chart that will give you a quick at-a-glance view of someone's posting stats so you can see if they have been around a long time, are new, post a lot / little etc...
Hopefully more useful that just a total count.

But yes I'm with Londo, it seems weird not to at least have a postcount...
