I just looked at the September issue of the KM and they are proud to admit that the attendance in the United States for the memorial, on March 26, was 2,504,114 for 2013. That is about 2,000 more than last year. Looks like things are slowing down rapidly. I know that there was not a big increase last year from the year before and it was speculated that it was becuase it was on a weekday. Well, this was also on a weekday and still no big increase.

I did the math and thats only an increase of 40 people per state that attended the memorial and if I got my percentages right I think thats only a .02% increase in each state.

How many millions of hours did JW's spend handing out Memorial invitations for just 2,000 people to show up?

Millions of hours were spent and millions of invitations were handed out. I know that of the 100 publishers in our hall that over 12,000 invitations were ordered and they ran out before the memorial. Makes me so proud.

And somehow they will be able to show a great figure of 1.5% growth for the year and say just how great that is and how it shows Jehovahs blessing. My wife must have placed at least 200 of those invitations and I must have thrown away about 50. It was hard trying to keep up with her.
