That is a very difficult question to answer since the WT doesn’t publish its accounts. But some countries require from charities to make public theirs finances. I've been thought the WT accounts published for Canada, UK and New Zealand for 2012.

This is what a dub gives to the WT per month in us dollars:

UK: 50.10 (this includes grants and loans. Cash donations: 13.42)

    Canada: 31.00

    New Zealand: 9.59

Do you now of other countries where the WT is forced to publish its numbers?

In the uk you can see all the funds taken spent and the balace this is for all charity's that don';t pay tax

this applies to each sepetate congregation so they all need to keep a set of books its interesting to look up all the congerations on the charity.org websites to see who the poor and rich ones are.

Makes no difference they all still beg for contributions no matter how much they have in the bank

This is difficult to measure, but I did the accounts in two congregations and here is a poor attempt. I think the average that was sent to the WWW monthly was somewhere between 450-600 dollars with occasional spikes. For the sake of argument let's just lowball it to account for poor U.S. congregations at $400. There are roughly 13,000 US congregations. So if we multiply 400 * 13,000 (congregations) * 12 (months in a year) we get roughly 62 million a year for the largest contributor nation. There really is no other single country with more than 1 million pubs so it's downhill from here when you factor in other countries. I would hazard a guess based on this at somewhere between 200-250 million per year world wide. You can make a little money go quite far when you've been collecting for over a century, and have all volunteer labor, and play your real estate cards well.

Thanks tootired - I would guess 15/20 dollars in the US per publisher per month. That would give some 216 million... Just on donations!!!

And we know they have other sources of income.

Lostonrye - That's right they are always asking for more. They also receive donations through the Assembly Halls charities, so the number is bigger.

The thing is most of the money that pubs donate was to fund local expenses. I only counted monies sent to the WWW slush fund. I forgot about though was the Kingdumb hall fund, and traveling overseer fund, which is pilfered from local contributions. So if you add that it is about 100-200 more per month more for the cong I did accounts in. So that comes out to about 93 million roughly 30% more, so ballpark it at 325 million per year for U.S.

The other really annoying thing is that all congregations are "encouraged" to put their excess funds on loan to the WT$.

CrazyGuy , There are all kinds of people and all kinds of businesses.

The Watchtower Bible and Track Society bills itself as a religion NOT what they truly are, a tax free Real Estate Developement Company, that buys, sells and flips on the charity and good will of free labor. This allows it's top people to live the life style of the rich and famous. By making up a religion, based loosely on Christian principles, they are a registered religious charity, which America then allows them to rake in your money as donations, your KHalls that you built and paid for that they own, your Assembly Halls, that you built, paid for, and now they own and you pay rent on, all tax free.

I knew a sister ( tm ). We were visiting her. She put us in her car and showed us around her town. She said, "This apartment block is mine. I own these houses. And that house over there too. That house, that house, that house".

    You get the picture, right?

And then she said, "I don't have any money", (she had a sad note in her voice) Sitting next to her, it was like I could hear her brain screaming, "Otherwise, I would buy that house, and another Apartment block and..."

She was a business woman. Business people ...do business. She NEVER had enough money. She always wanted more.

The WTB&T$ is a business based on your free labor, based on your "donations", allowing them to grow their empire, all the while not giving you anything back, except the illusive promise of a paradise earth sometime in the future.

My experience as an account servant for many years is that most give nearly zero, but there are a select few that give regularly and with more than nominal amounts.

BTW, you can count me in the column of those that gave near zero. So, when I walked away from the organization they did not miss me...
