One of my daughters in law works in admitting, at a local hospital, and her mother works there too. This week, one of the 'sisters' (Audrey), from Mom's congregation, was visiting someone at the hospital and dropped by to visit these gals. Only the mother was there, and Audrey started talking about how awful it is that my mother has to live with us now.
It was so great because my dol's mom said "I don't think it's awful at all. I think it's wonderful that they are taking care of her." Poor gal, didn't have anyone to gossip with. Her bubble was burst I think.
Too fun, isn't it?? By the way, it was one of the same women who shunned me today.

Hey Marilyn, It seems we are kinda having similar problems (read my post above). These dubs really are so stupid that they can't see what a fantastic thing you are doing for your parents.
I know, Ozzie. It is really hurting Mom. Last night, at dinner, she said she is beginning to understand why people leave. Amazing!! She also has a young friend (my age) who is inactive, and reluctant to go back because of all the gossip. Mom said she understands that now, but before this all happened to her, she didn't know what she could possibly mean.
