What would change the process for the better in a judicial committee meeting?

What is the single worst policy in need of improvement?

Do it like the churches do. They mind their own business but if there is a big problem they do it in front of the entire congregation. I know a geezer that witnessed one of these and he said it was done lovingly.

Personally I think JCs are totally out of order and unscriptural anyway and especially seeing how for example, they willingly protect paedophiles. Further to that I actually think the 'scriptures' are a load of old rubbish anyway.

What is the single worst policy in need of improvement?

    Blimey, where do I start?

    Just disband the whole cult!

    It's self-referencing and redundant.

Short of eradicating them because it's an irrelevant and demeaning invasion of privacy, don't make it 3 against 1, make them actually confidential instead of reporting to 'branch office' (a breach of clergy-penitent privilege), abolish shunning, don't use emotional blackmail, audio or video recording is the choice of the accused, legal representation and moral support allowed.

What is the single worst policy in need of improvement?

Do you mean policies relating to judicial committes, or more broadly?

    it's an interesting question.

i don't think any policy change would make a difference to me and whatever policy changes are made the benefits depend on the how successfully they are implemented.

    often congregations vary.

Have the JC in front of the whole congregation. Then by vote of all the congregation come down with a course to go with the one who needs help. No DF or plubic reproof just loving help. According to what I have read in the bible the only ones who should be put out are those who have caused great disturbance in the congregation. Being open to everyone is what needs to be done. Also no children need to be present. This is adult stuff. Of course I know this is off the wall and does not stand a chance like a snow ball in hell to happen. LOL Totally ADD

I had never experienced the benefit of a true friend until leaving the JW's.

Being able to speak my mind, share my faults and genuinely grow as a believer is in stark contrast to the culture of fear created by the non biblical Judicial Committee process.

Your question suggests reform. To what end?

Those guys don't need to do any of that stuff. They need a meeting once in a while to see who needs help or what repairs to schedule. And get a big coffee pot, for crying out loud people need coffee, what is wrong with drinking coffee in the KH.
